The Georgia Men For Democracy Now Political Action Committee hosted its "historic" inaugural fundraiser on February 27, 2025, at the Arnika Dawson Gallery in Legacy Southwest Atlanta. The PAC originally set a fundraising goal of $25,000 but surpassed expectations by raising over $30,000 to support PAC endorsed candidates in Georgia's state and local elections.
The evening’s featured speaker was Representative Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, the first African American Chairman of the U.S. House Homeland Security Committee. In his powerful "Fireside Chat," he called on attendees to join the fight to protect American democracy for all.
